What a title you may be saying, the same thing I thought. Truth be said, I wanted to use "P" words that depicted how I was feeling today. I was crying out "please, please, please Lord help me with life".

Not that I haven't been praying and asking for this before, but today I wanted it NOW.

                         Looking for Patience & Peace

I was trying to work things out and make things happen, crying out "please, please, please, Lord help me with life"

                          Looking for Patience & Peace

What about you? Are you having one of those days when you are crying out, "please, please, please, Lord help me with life" ?

                        Looking for Patience & Peace

I just completed reading the book of Isaiah. Not an easy read, but such profound verses. This one may help us today!

                        Isaiah 55:8 -13

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fig tree, and instead of the brier shall come up myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

Wow, not my way and not when I want it. So all my pleading and crying will not move Him.  He said  the rain and the snow have a purpose, just like His Word. His Word will accomplish what He please. His Word will prosper where He send it.

Look at His beautiful creations - the mountains and hills singing; trees clapping; no thorn or brier but a fig tree and a myrtle tree.

After reading this, I'm going out with joy and be led forth with peace.

No more looking for Patience & Peace

I'm going to HIS WORD because It will not return void.

Please share your favorite verse from the book of Isaiah!
